Glass Ensemble Triptych
For Mieke & Jeroen
2025, EINDHOVEN, PRIVATE CLIENT
This Triptych is developed and adapted to form a single, large-scale work. Three individual glass objects are brought together to respond to a specific space.

The work was commissioned following an interest in the Glass Ensemble collection and its interaction with natural light. Each element is hand-made from layered, fused glass, allowing the surface to shift in appearance throughout the day as light conditions change.
The Triptych was developed for a wardrobe corridor, a largely static space in the home. By introducing colour, light and movement, the three works activate the passage and create a sense of rhythm. Individually, the objects retain their own presence, while together they form a coherent composition.
Through their placement, scale and colour relationship, the works enter into dialogue with one another and with the space around them. Rather than functioning as separate objects, the triptych was conceived as a unified work shaped by light, movement and its architectural setting.
