Best Wool’s experience and expertise in woollen carpets and rugs, translated by studio RENS into a visual presentation and design publication for Dutch Design Week and Salone del Mobile in 2019.


Innovation requires research. To meet tomorrow’s wishes and requirements, with things as timeless as wool and carpets, Best Wool invited RENS to develop a special campaign and visual identity for the company's presentations during Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven and the Salone del Mobile in Milan.


RENS visited the factory and spent time studying the production process, from raw materials to finished product. The designers turned their attention to the company's manufacturing details and focused specifically on the material qualities of wool, highlighting features such as rhythm, movement, spooling and turning.


All findings were collected and presented in an exhibition design and publication created in collaboration with Studio&.

The Dutch producer of woollen carpets and rugs, challenged the designers of RENS to develop a one-time visual presentation that aligns with both the company and its core business: woollen carpets and rugs.


RENS took to the factory floor and turned its attention to the company’s manufacturing processes, focusing on the characteristic qualities of wool. Their visual interpretation of material, form, expertise and experience came together in the innovative campaign and exhibition Roll with us during Dutch Design Week in 2019.
